HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA — The Nova Scotia RCMP have provided a major update in the ongoing search for Lilly and Jack Sullivan, two siblings who disappeared more than five months ago. Despite renewed efforts, investigators have confirmed that no human remains were found during a recent large-scale search operation.
The intensive search took place in a densely wooded area near the children’s last known location. RCMP teams were joined by forensic specialists and K9 cadaver units specifically trained to detect human remains. After several days of coordinated work, officers concluded the operation with no discoveries that could move the case forward.
Police emphasized that the investigation remains active and ongoing. “Every lead is being followed, and our focus remains on locating Lilly and Jack,” said an RCMP spokesperson. “We continue to appeal to the public for any information, no matter how small it may seem.”
The Sullivan family, who have been working closely with authorities, expressed their continued hope for answers and thanked volunteers and search crews for their dedication and support.
Investigators are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything relevant to contact Nova Scotia RCMP or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
The disappearance of Lilly and Jack Sullivan has deeply affected the local community, with ongoing vigils and social media efforts aimed at raising awareness.
